Job Title: Parking Attendant (Part-Time)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: $10/hr.

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience

Responsibilities:

• Direct incoming traffic to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience.
• Direct outgoing traffic from parking lot after event.
• Must be available day, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Respond to customer questions, complaints, or any other comments in a prompt, respectful, and helpful manner.
• Direct guests to parking spaces.
• Remove trash on grounds in parking spaces.
• Enforce parking regulations.
• Deter criminal activity on civic center grounds.
• Perform valet duties and park vehicles in open spaces
• Take tickets from waiting patrons and park or retrieve vehicles
• Call tow trucks if person is parked illegally
• Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
• Ensure cameras are working properly on civic center grounds
• Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
• Open doors and greet customers.
• Help customers locate their vehicles.
• Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers.
• Escort customers to their vehicles if needed.
• Help customers jump-start vehicles that have died.
• Call for cabs or tow trucks per clients' request.
• Give directions to nearest highway or destination.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• A licensed driver.
• Friendly and personable. Excellent customer service skills required.
